Martin Bormann

To start Marin Bormann’s life he dropped out of school. So his first job was working on a farm. Martin also served in the German Army at the ending of World War 1. After the war Mr. Bormann joined the Freikorps. In March of 1924, Martin went to prison for one year for killing Walther Kadow. After he was released from prison he joined the Nazi party, he was the manager. In July of 1933 Martin was a personal secretary of Rudolf Hess. A few years later this he became a secretary of Hitler, doing almost everything for him. While secretary Martin signed the papers that Jew in Germany would be taken to death camps in Poland. On July 1st, 1943 he signed more papers that said that Adolf Eichmann had all the power of the “Jewish Problem”. Martin didn’t like the Slavs so he wanted them to work for him otherwise they didn’t need to live. Bormann was so close to Hitler that he was at Hitler’s wedding. At the end of the war Martin was tried at the Nuremburg Trials and was guilty of everything so he was killed.


Q- What is your name sir?
A- My name is Martin Bormann.

Q- Why did you want to follow in Hitler’s footsteps?
A- I wanted to follow in his footsteps because I mainly just liked him.

Q- When did you become Hitler’s secretary?
A- Well I did just after I got done being secretary for Rudolf Hess.

Q- Was that your first job?
A- No. I worked on a farm then I went to the German Army.

Q- When did you join the German Army?
A- I joined the army close to the end of World War 1.

Q- What did you do after the war?
A- I got into the Frekorps. (Free Corps)

Q- In what year did you become secretary for Rudolf Hess?
A- Well I became secretary for Hess in July of 1933.

Q- What did you do when you were secretary for Hitler?
A- I signed papers to get all the Jews to death camps and I also signed papers that said Slavs have to work for me.

Q- Did you not like Slavs because Hitler didn’t or what?
A- I had never liked them.

Q-What would have happened if the Slavs didn’t work for you?
A- If the Slavs didn’t work for me then they wouldn’t have a life anymore.

Q- Where you tried in the Nuremburg Trials?
A- Yes I was.

Q- Were you found guilty of anything?
A- Yes I was guilty of everything.

Q- What was your punishment?
A- My punishment was being killed and I wouldn’t have a life just like I didn’t want the Slavs to have a life.
